TakeTheGlobe PTC has officially gone scam. I left the following just for the record. The Admin's name was supposedly "Brian" from Canada. I was suspicious at the very beginning of the year (2008) but tried to wait to give him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately he was successful in robbing people of literally thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars. Karma, baby.....

In my search for a trustworthy PTC, I came across TTG several months ago. I watched the Admin in a PTC forum for a time. He seemed honorable and had a passion to make his PTC site work, as he had belonged to some and watched them miserably fail it's members. Unfortunately, they also took members hard earned money in the process.
I joined, clicked for awhile and liked what I saw, so I bought 10 referrals. I'm not a big gambler so I started small. It only took about 10 days to reach payout because they have a massive amount of ads to click. Here is screenshot for proof of payment:
Soon I began buying more referrals and upgraded to premium and my balance quickly grew. I received my second payment of $121.50. Currently I'm awaiting payment of $1157. All this in just 3 months time.

Here is the plan folks. We're going to launch V2 by next week. We realize V1 has too many issues and people are earning more than they should thanks to a bug in V1. We have not secured an investor so what we are going to do is make this transition completely transparent. The idea is to launch V2 fresh. All users would start from scratch with a new system. User's earnings from V1 will be paid one at a time over as long as necessary from V2's profits since there is no bug to cause losses and more earning potential. We've decided that the proper thing to do is to make a list each time a V1 user gets paid it will be posted until ALL of V1 is paid out and V2 is running strong. TTG won't let it's fellow people down and in order to have a working program we need to move to V2 immediately over the next week and work on V1's deficit one user at a time. We apologise that this is our only option but given the circumstances we hope users understand the need for the change. V2 will run normally and users will get paid for their v2 usage as normal and ALL profit from V2 will be ported to v1 payments until the entire userbase's earnings are cleared. We realistically expect this could take a bit but even those users no longer interested in being V2 members will still be paid in order. To those who understand the change we look forward to seeing you in V2 as of next week!
To all the naysayers. The support outweighs you and we will make this work.
Our plan is to work steadily from now until Sunday and launch V2 Monday morning fresh. Users will be able to register on V2 Monday morning. V1 earnings are safely backed up in multiple areas and as said everytime a V1 balance is paid it will be available for all to see in V2.

V2 beta is launched. This is just for testing and no income will be paid as you will have to create a test account until we port V1's info over. Don't panic if you can't login using your V1 info. Just create a test user to test features as we refine. Your V1 data is safe..

We submitted the balance sheets last night to the potential investor. We also audited the entire system for cheaters, robots, and autoclickers.. I have a telephone conference at 4 pm today to go over the balance sheets with the investor and we will know more at that point.

Everything is going well folks. Our balance sheets are complete. We just need to complete the auditing of knocking out the cheaters (30% of our member base) which will be 100% done tomorrow. The investor will have the sheets Monday morning exactly as he's specified. OH and here's a screenshot of the beta coming Mond/Tues for members to test. You can see the initial features in this screenshot and all are bug free and flawless. I was 100% correct with my cpa calculations on how much TTG is going to make. V2 is geared for a long term solution. V1 was bug riddled and flawed for cheaters to exploit topped with the balance bug. V2 will pay out 50% of it's income and keep 50% profit which is the best solution for everyone for longetivity. What that means is that the site will take in ALOT more funds with the cpa and other portions which gives members the ability to earn even more without the site ever losing. Members can theoretically earn hundreds per day doing cpa offers on top of their ptc earnings all the while also earning the site funds in profit. Again here's the first screenshot. Enjoy!. Investor relations are going well. We've asked for the weekend to continue the .csv / spreadsheet report and will have it to him by Sunday. It's ALOT of calculations. Every transaction both in incoming / outgoing payments must all be calculated. All the current payout queue as well has to be calculated. The cheaters are being audited out first. Also now for the good news. A test model of V2 will be available on Monday or Tuesday at the latest for an initial test. Members will be able to review the system and test it's functions. No income will be afforded until this is all worked out on V2 and we put the real version live however this is a taste to show that we're really working on this. Most members know that I'm doing what I say. Sometimes things come up that are set backs however I will do everything in my power to get the entire site sorted as quickly as humanly possible. Just afford me the time and TTG will be like it's never been in so many good ways, everyone will get their dues, and they'll have way more earning features. By being patient you're affording me the ability to put my skillset to work to solve all the problems and get something good out to you.

We've run into another major snag while attempting a V2 launch. Because of so many negative postings showing in google our original angel, flaked and bailed :(, We are however talking with another potential thanks to a TTG member who has some big contacts. This is taking some time to negotiate but we're doing our absolute best to keep this from heading south.The V2 script is functional and nearly ready for our layout. All we're waiting on is the funds now to wipe the queue and to finish paying the coder who's created the V2 script so he can impliment it. TTG has made no "income" since November which is understandable however we know that with a queue wipe this will change. To those who've recieved or recieving a check please do not cash them until we post here that it's ready to cash. Today I have a telephone conference with the new angel and he already knows the urgency. There's a process to everything and please refrain from posting any more negatives online or we may not be able to find the funds we need. People should note throughout the history of TTG that I've always kept them up to date. They should note all the major payments we've sent. We're not in this for a scam but V2 IS required to make the site sustainable for a long period. We understand everyone needs to be paid and we're working on this. We're not sleeping, nor resting idly. We're working on the business end of this every single day until we have everything out to you people. Meantime the V1 revision is back and operating. We're quite sorry but we need more time to complete this proper. The potential new angel knows full well what a queue wipe will do for TTG. We're all aware that by wiping the queue, the thousands of success stories will enable us to grow and V2 income will for once outweigh what's going out. Patience is required. We need members to see that we're doing all we can here to get this to you. Just be patient. We're not talking months here. As said V2 IS ready to go. It just needs the layout now and the database conversion. V2 has some new features that V1 doesn't as well such as ref renting and more. Instant payouts for premiums too. We changed our minds on that facet but again that's only for premiums. All we're waiting for is the negotiations now for the funding. We're not stopping our investor search and relying on just one either. We've placed many many ads on all the investment areas over the last month. TTG Can and will be sustainable with all the features such as CPA and more. We just need to overcome this one hurdle first. We thank those that are being patient and supportive and not so much those who're posting all the negatives. When we launch V2 we will scour the internet and all posters that have caused us harm will be paid out and removed permanantly from TTG. We'll update this page with news as soon as we have it.
After posting this I recieved an email this morning from a member that made my day and has renewed my vigor on making this happen for you people. I've put in so many hours to make this work and realized that the people I had working on this prior with me simply did not have the personal interest in TTG like I do, Exept Zeb. This was a mistake we won't be making again. We've finally found a coder we can rely on. That in itself was a chore when many coders we've hired were happy to take our money but did relatively nothing except break things worse . (EG balance bug, stats, raffles and more). I was able to test V2 last night on a trial licence pending on payment to the coder. It's frankly amazing. I will hammer the pavement until we get the funds we need to do this. If you keep hitting the site every day meantime all the traffic stats to show the investor will be accurate and it will be easier to get this funding. My goal has always been to not let anyone down and build this into something big. It's reachable. I just need a bit of time as the amount of money we are requiring is no small peanuts. I've done my calculations and with V2 and a wipe TTG will suddenly go from no extra profit to plenty of site profit for once. This offsets everything. All I ask from members is patience. TTG is not a money tree. It needs water and care. I don't want to be the only one who cares. If any of our members knows ANYONE who would like to double their investment of 210k required in short order and who has no issues with an immediate injection I'd invite them to mail admin @ taketheglobe.com with all pertinant information. This is a one time opportunity for someone to really make a tonne of money in an amazingly short amount of time. I've tested the CPA model as well. Exactly 50% of what's brought in with CPA alone goes out.. which leaves 50% as pure profit. The offers can pay a user 55.00 for just one offer and the site makes an immediate 55.00 as well. With hundreds of thousands of users doing them TTG will turn massive profits on just the cpa alone. That's based on just one offer. There's hundreds in the system users can do. This doesn't include the new referral renting system and other V2 features that are coded.
Anyhow here's the email I recieved that opened my eyes to the fact that this can be done.
Keep your chin up and be strong. I know things haven't been the best for you lately, your health and now this. Don't worry about the people who have been trying to trash TTG, they are not worth your energy. Just concentrate on what you need to do to bring TTG back to its former glory. There's a saying in life that whenever we encounter bad luck, it's always 3 of everything, let's just hope this time it will be 3rd time lucky! I believe in this cos I went through it in 2008!
In the end, it is you that is going to bring TTG up again, and those that have bad-mouthed TTG will only be going back to their shells. I've always believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, there is no reason to jump into conclusion, having worked as an IT System Administrator, I do realize that sometimes things don't go our way and that sometimes it's beyond our control when things break, don't give up! As much as you want it to go back north again, I want it to be like how it was too. I've been really patient throughout TTG struggling period and until this day, I still believe that you will overcome these obstacles.
I know sometimes reading negative posts online can have some kind of impact on us, I hope it is not having any impact on you or distracting you from completing what you wanna complete. Mate, i'm sure you are genuinely honest with your members and that you are not a scam-artist, you don't need to say anything to prove to anyone, all you need to do is show them with your actions so that those people that have been bad-mouthing you will all be silent by your determination to make it through this period. Much appreciated for the updates you have posted to keep us inform. I know you want to pay us, I want to be paid also as this will be my first payment that I've anticipated for this long :D Don't worry about the original 'angel' that lashed off, he'll be sorry once the 'new' angel funds TTG!
Brian, do what you need to do and bring V2 in, we are all waiting and know that you can pull this one through.

I read everything you kindly posted for us, and it made me realize how much initiative I'm lacking in this period of my life. My only fear now is that I might appear to be a random user trying to get some attention from you... I imagine I'm not the only one e-mailing you after seeing that message, but it's a good thing knowing that it restored faith to some non-believers! Anyway I have something to tell you, and in the same time... something to tell myself. Hopefully you'll read "the whole thing"! (if you remember my first pm to you, @ september, I'll never forget :) )
So here goes nothing and everything in the same time: I've been through a lot in 2008, death of my only brother, post-traumatic stress, drugs, severe gastritis, social failure, but I never gave up believing I'll get through and live life as one should, surrounded by loved ones, doing what I feel I ought to be doing. Everybody has their own problems, but it's the way we solve those problems that separates the strong ones from the weak ones. The admin I know is one of the strongest characters I've had the luck to encounter (even if only on the internet). I simply know you have what it takes to reach the top, and I wish I could help you more but unfortunately my skills in this domain are limited... nevertheless
If you'll ever need the aid of a faithful member, please don't forget I'm here... I'd sacrifice all my time just to know I'm helping you... And as for the bad-mouthers, it's a thought that makes me smile everytime :)... I'm not about to allow TTG to fail. I will work until I find the right funder. I'm currently negotiating with two today. If people know where we're at then perhaps they will know that miracles don't happen. We have to make our own miracles happen and that's what I'm trying to do for all of you. We've seen some rough times. I consider that a learning curve. Things have been learned that won't be forgotten with V2. We have an incredible member base. Each and every one of you contributes to TTG's success and all of our work. We compliment each other and our advertisers by just existing. Failure is not an option. I humbly and sincerely ask for time to make this work. Once again I've not forgotten all of you and I've as always never left you in the dark. Don't close the book on TTG just yet. After all the story is only beginning.
Perhaps users can help us by blogging about what we're trying to do and the future of TTG, and V2 being ready so that the good posts in google once again outweigh those who whine, and those who cheat who focus on getting those backlinks for their own traffic collection and for no good reason but to whine instead of being a positive force in getting us back and running again. Just a thought. It would surely help when any investors we're talking to searches in google to see good things at the top instead of the few negatives. Remember we've already paid out 128k. We don't have to prove we pay. We just need to expand and change our methodology somewhat so the site has more profit.

OK after waiting all day for an update to give you on the status of the progress on V2, I was told today an hour ago that we will not be launching today as originally planned. I was informed that they got as far as having made most of the necessary backups that will be required to perform the upgrade. The coders have told me the plan is to make the merge beginning at 4 pm GMT -8:00 tomorrow. They've also asked me to notify the users that the site may be down for a total of nearly 24 to 48 hours again for the merge. Please expect some downtime and things they've said should now go relatively smoothly.
That's the only news I have at the moment. Batch 2 of the certified checks went out today as well.

"Just a notice folks we're beginning a major audit today of both unpaid referrals and upgrades as well as for autoclickers and cheaters. Any unpaid orders will flag your account as mentioned nearly a month ago in this thread, and will be pruned on the 29th.All cheaters will also be pruned. We are aware that some members have complained that they can not afford to pay for their orders but if they want to be a member here and collect the payouts they've earned then they must cover the costs to do so. We gave over 30 days notice to cover this. We cannot operate on an (I OWE YOU) basis. This affects all users in the long term, therefor it either must be covered or the account forfeit. We need a clean slate all around for V2 launch. There are many people who took the time to clean up their account in the last 30 days and then there's many who did not. If you did not or will not by the 29th we'll no longer be able to float you. This notice still gives you a few days.This is also advance notice that any and all autoclickers / cheaters will not be recieving the payment they hoped to slip by and collect. We're aware that 29% of our payout requests are from cheating individuals and have been flagged as such and monitored for quite some time to collect exact data on this. I'm frankly appalled at so many people believing they could sneak on by after cheating to the extent they did. Thankfully none of the "regulars" on the forums are flagged however there is an odd one or two forum posters (Random posters) who're definately flagged.
We will try and move the funds into AP early this coming week for the 29th. If AP is having issues still with bank transfers (They had issues last week), then we will initiate a wire and begin the major integration.
So far everything is on schedule. The honest users have nothing to fear."

"1. The coding team working on V2 is paid. They've been refining for some time now and continuing to do so. So far we've been assured they will make launch date.
2. The hardware required to launch V2 along with V1 one V1 is fixed and tied into V2 is aquired.
3. Everything is in line to make our deadline so long as the coders complete their task on time.
4. We've been also spending the last few weeks getting all our ducks in a row with CPA companies, and other advertisers with the PTSU portion.
5. If people took the time to go back in this thread and read the "official" announcements they would see exactly that we've been constantly updating everything with news that we can give at this moment.
6. I've not been on to speak with Ryan as I've also been dealing with real life things.I've left him a message this morning. That post should not have been posted from yourself as an administrator therefor you're no longer a forum administrator. To make a post like that was not constructive and therefor unhelpful while we're trying to go to launch.
7. If everything goes according to plans we WILL make launch date. Users must take into consideration the scope of this. There is two complete platforms which will merge into one. We're dealing with a LARGE angel investment firm to fascilitate all of this. There's nothing magic about this. We put in more hours at our job per day than any of you likely. Unless you work with projects on this scale we don't expect you to understand but if it's given thought perhaps some understanding can be achieved. We've not announced anywhere that we will not make launch day now have we?Are they complete yet? No not yet that I'm aware so what exactly can i update you that you do not already know?

"Due to some issues we've been having merging V2 to V1 on TakeTheGlobe.com we will be reverting backwards to V1 and doing some more developing on V2 while V1 continues to run. Over the next 30 days our goal is to wipe the current payout queue while V2 gets a proper re-development. We have an investment coming of over 200,000.00 USD to fascilitate this which in turn will allow us to launch V2 with a clean slate and expand V2 into the platform we've been wishing for. There are many features that we'd like to refine further before re-attempting a V2 release.We will reopen the main site on Friday, January 02, 2009, however the forums will remain down to control server loads from the influx of traffic we will recieve. With this new investment, there will be more features than originally planned in V2.All current payout requests will be processed on or before January 30 / 2009.
